Hurricane Sandy, As Seen in Westport, Connecticut

Hurricane Sandy was quite an interesting experiance for those of us down by Compo Beach in Westport, Connecticut. As a resident of Compo Beach, I experianced extreme flooding, wind, and general storm bullshit. Personally - I had a fuckin blast! I was off school for some time so some buddies and I basically scoured the street, doing a bunch of fun bullshit (stolen street signs anyone???). Below are some photos I took during the aftermath of the storm. Enjoy =)

Bradley Trek

I took this photo on Bradley Street, near Compo Beach. This photo was taken the day after the storm hit, and all the streets across from the beach were totally flooded. Residents were freaking out, worried that their homes and possessions had been fucked up by the water. However, they were unable to check it out since the area was still flooded with gross-ass, polluted water, not to mention fallen power lines and the like. I was just chilling out, looking down the street when this guy turned up wearing a full-out hazmat suit. He pulled that sucker on and charged into the water to get check out his house. Destruction is often a difficult thing to witness, but this guy seemed to deal with it alright - he definitely had balls, thats for sure.
